Darn near post #1000 and I finally find this forum. I always ignored it because, like you said, the title doesn't mean much. A quick read shows it to be all about PLCs and computer controllers. Only what I do for a living (at least 1/3 the time). Sheesh. And to think I could have been annoying you guys for the last couple of years...

P.S. Going back a few years turns up the name from which the acronym is derived from: "Reef Central Computer Controlled Automator"

Well, way back when this forum was first started, we had intended to collaborate on DIY plans for a tank automation system/controller. We had a million ideas, but nobody with enough skills and time to actually sit down and try to integrate things.

Thus, it has spiraled out of control. I haven't been here for quite some time, but it is interesting to see people still using this forum.

Most of the controller/automation posts end up in the DIY forum instead of this one.
