Doc that's nice orange but not sure on ID...

It does not look like Acan Lord or Micromussa since polyps are kinda connected... (Polyps are connected right? - that's what I see from pics....)

I looks like Acan echinata but not 100% sure... they do not look like favia or faviites....

Is that what you think it is also?

Its funny how everyone rushes out and spits out acan. Thats not an acan. I have the same thing, as does another user on this board whom got it as a hitchiker on love rock. I have been told its some type of favia, though I am not sold on it. I have never seen one for sale anywhere and only a hand full of hobbyists have it.

I have two different color morphs of this piece and I don't think it is an acan at all. I think it is in the favia family but not 100% sure. Here is the two, whatever they are, they are some of my favs.=)

I think it's funny that one would blast others idea of an ID but provide no info or an ID themselves. I would have to say there is a lot more then a handfull of people with this coral as evident by all the responses.

My guess is Favia but would not surprise me if it were a Acan Subechinata. Jens look more like Favia to me!

Hi Matt,
Yes! that is the "ONE" I hope you dont mind If I say that you are the original owner of this awesome piece. I think it belongs to tyree's most wanted, I got people requesting for them.
