How do SunCorals spread?

Im wondering how often and how Suncorals spread or *make babies*! If I have one placed on a rock do they just migrate like zoathids or do they release them into the water and they finally settle on a distant rock?

Ive had mine for 2 months and its about doubbled the amount of heads it had.

I haven't ever seen them spread over rock like a zoa, I have seen them form new buds at the base which become new polyps. There's a hobbyist on the nano forum whose sun polyps appear to be sending out babies which settle in various locations on her rocks. I think the key is feeding. I feed mine a TON. Which is tricky because it will foul the water quality quick. This is how I got around that problem.

I take the SC and place it in the bucket and feed it in there. It takes about an hour for me to feed it completely, which I do at least twice a week. Almost all the food stays in the bucket. There are small holes to allow water exchange to keep the temps exactly the same as the tank. I use a turkey basterto swish things around in the tub and let the sun coral do the rest.
