cloudy tank

I have a 30 gallon biocube tank that has been set up for probably 3 weeks, i did drop 2 algae tablets into the tank to get it kick started a little faster but now i cant get the water to be clear again. i have a lot of brown algae covering the live rock. I also have 1 clown fish a cleaner shrimp 1 mitas blenny , toadstol, xena and a anemone and one of those purple strawberry fish and 5 snails.i just think that the filter pad needs to be replaced but i have been reading theres other methods to run the filtration of the bio cube.... i would appreciate the help.

Questions for you:

Define un clear? its whiteish clowdy?

Did you wash out the sand before putting it in the tank?

Are your running the Bio Cube with the supplied bio plastic balls filter media? Meaning completely un modified?

How much Live rock? (lbs)
a) was live rock cured?
b)from another tank (Established)

------------
the brown algae bloom is a common new tank deal.

IME
If its Biologial clowdy/unclear, it "Should" clear up on its own.

If its particleclowdy/unclear , you could add a mechanical filter on a power head, to aid in clearing it

If its cloudy because of algae bloom then just turn off the lights for 2-4 days. Other than that... post your params
