need help with chromis decision

Ok I have a 25 gallon aquapod with a 1 inch green chromis that I have had for a long time and I now have a new 100 gallon display tank with a 40 gallon sump and a lot of rock work that I will be switching my 25 gallon tank into. The first fish I got for this bigger tank was a 1/2 inch green chromis from my girlfriend.

Heres the question. Will the 1 inch get along with the 1/2 inch or should I just stick with the 1/2 inch and take my 1 inch to the store? Maybe for another 1/2 inch or nothing at all.

Any ideas? I'm hoping on switching the tank tomarrow.

they should get along fine in a tank that size...there has been mixed sucess here with chromis in groups. I had 5 in a 55 and they did fine. Heard stories of people having chromis pick each other off too. All in all they should be ok...

I had 4 at one point in my 125 with no problems. I added them all at the same time though.

Yeah the same time is what I wanted but couldn't get. I know with the little one I can get a bunch more I'm thinking 12 total that way the aggression is spread out but a quarter incher with a one inch seems odds are low for the little one.

Agreed. Trade the larger one for a smaller one. Much better chance of them getting along.
