PC Spectrum advice?
Hey everyone,
I have a power compact setup with 6 65W bulbs (2 rows of 3). Since there are so many choices with regards to spectrum, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on which bulbs to use? Currently I'm running: 2 x SunPaq Dual Actinic (420nm/460nm) 2 x SunPaq Dual Daylight (6700K/10000K) 2 x SmartPaq Daylight (10000K/Actinic 460nm) I do like the look of the tank at the moment, except that I think that there might be a bit too much yellow light... I realize that there are many ways to go about ammeding this, so I was hoping someone had some suggestions! Thanks! Nilla |

If a person was going to get an actinic bulb, should they get the 420nm or the 460 nm?

depends on what look you want- 420nm gives you the purple disco hues
460nm gives you the bright blue/green look- almost white

I would do four daylight 10k
two actinics you'd only do more actinicis if you didn't want growth rather look instead |
