Can I put two Sixlines in a 20 gallon long?

Lots of liverock and pods from fuge. Only other fish would be Ocellaris.

I think it depends on when you put the fish in the tank as well as the age of the fish.

the sixline is the last fish I added to my tank (8 total fish) and it is significantly smaller (1.5 inches) than the rest of the fish. So it doesn't dominate with a large tomato clown (4 inches), and Clown Tang (6 inches) in the tank. I think he knows where he stands.

I will be moving everyone to a six foot 200 gallon aquarium in 4 months - I am waiting before adding anything else to my tank.

3 pajama cardinals
1 saddleback clown
1 tomato clown
1 clown tang
1 flameangel
1 sixline wrasse

Yeah it should be an interesting death match. If you want them to live i wouldnt do it but if you are purposely doing it to witness the carnage than go for it! lol

despite all the quick oneliners in this thread- I say do not do it. It would be amlmost guranateed in at least one death. Do not waste your money or a fishes life.

I agree with jmaneyapanda. They are good at eating flatworms but there are other ways of dealing with that issue.

One ocellaris I've had for seven years. Then I would quarantine the two sixlines before adding. Getting the sixlines as small as possible online.

No it doesn't - not when you are talking about adding two six lines. It will always cause problems!

The problem is six lines are territorial two will not co exist in a tank together, one will end up dead. The size of the fish has nothing to do with it, one of the six lines will kill the other six line! Why dont you get one 6 line, and one other small fish.

You will end up with one 6 line in my opinion. Unless you have something on the order of a 300 gallon, 10' tank I'd just get one. I really wouldn't add even one since they are bullies and get worse the longer they are established making new additions very difficult.

I wouldnt put one 6-line in a 30g. Look into flasher/carpenter wrasses.

Okay, I had a sixline previously with a clown in a 29 gallon and they did just fine.

I'm glad I got it straight now, two sixlines would be a disaster.
