I really like the coloration, what are you running for actinics or did I miss that?
LOL, the tangpolice are not in this forum...LOL
Yes, I will upgrade my tank in a few months to a 240g. I have bought all my tangs very small, maybe 2" or so. They will grow out from my 90 g, but my experience with tangs are if they have high turnover and lot of food they can still live good in a 90 g up to they are 3-4".
If I don't had plans for upgrade my tank I will give them to any friends with bigger tanks.

I use three D&D actinics 24 watt T5.

By making this the "Tank of the Month" I feel that you are supporting this kind of reckless collecting. These animals, as with so many more that are are kept in your tanks, belong in the OCEAN.
Hmmm, yes I have think about it, but you are looking at a "Reef Tank" so all kind of animals in my tank is from the OCEAN.
My cleaner wrasse have live in my tank for a year, eat well and have double the size in that time.

Also you stated that the tank was bare bottom but I see some substrate what kind of substrate is this? Is the tank still considered BB?
You have right, it's not necessary with this big skimmer, but I have bougt it for a new setup and have fun to try it in a 90 g.

I only have a very little substrate in the front and frontcorner for my leopard wrasse. It's something from CaribSea.

I must frag very often if I don''t will have some "battle". I have not time to take it everyday, but I check up every week so I don't lose any kind of SPS.

Some kind of acro don't "battle" at all so i don't need to frag them.

Acro > Monti is a big problem.

think I can keep a tang in there? I'll have about 2300gph flow, and it has 110g of total water including sump.
Hey koden.
Yes, I mean you can have a small tang in the tank. With small I mean about 2-3". Try with a Zebrasoma, they are not so active as Achanturus.
If you have good water quality and feed the tang often maybe you will have success with your tang.

i was taken back when i rad your description that the tank was only 750x750x600, you have truley inspired me.

even my wife thought it was really nice, (she mentioned we should have a deeper tank when we move to our new home)

I love the angels......you mentioned in the Reef Central article that you have experimented with many angels, sometimes at the expense of your corals. What other angels have you tried? Ever tried a blue-girdled (majestic) angelfish? How do they do with softies and clams? You really haven't had any problems with your clams and your regal angels? They really are the most beautiful fish.

Good job. I am most impressed that you can keep both angelfish can clams in the same tank without any trouble. Can you share how do you keep them together?

Congratulations, your tank is one of the most amazing I've seen in TOTM section.

Did you cook the rock? If you did, how much time did you spend during the process?

Your sustrate seems to be simply decorative, how often do you clean it?

No, I really don't have any problems with my clams and my regal angels.
Another angels, please look in the forum "reef fish" and "SPS keepers", all angels are various so there is not a standard solution.

Takk så mye Erik, du er vel litt drøy her...det finnes mye fint på denne siden av atlanteren også , kanskje også i Stockholm.

IMO, my experience is that the Regals don't have so interest of my clams, but feed the Regals often so they are healty and not hungery.
