That is the best TOTM I've ever seen on here. Weekly 100-gallon water change . Your wife did a nice job on the stand by the way.

If you haven't heard it enough already Mike, congratulations on TOTM I have seen a lot of beautiful tanks in my life and can honestly say that what you have accomplished is truly amazing and I am sure you will do it again. Not just the growth but the diversity and lasting color really makes this TOTM unique.

Skipper,
You did an excellent job putting the article together
Thank you for working with Mike and I to get as many pics as possible in there to really show everyone what this tank is about.

Jim

Hey Mike,

Do you think maybe I should have boosted the saturation up to really show how rich those corals colors are in person? I kind of felt the pictures didn't do your bali green slimer and pink pocillipora justice

Awesome Display I think you did a fabulous job with this tank. You must be so proud to stand back and enjoy such a beast.

I had a quick questions for you about your lighting. I am setting up my display and will have 3 - 400 watt 12K reeflux w/ CV ballast. I was pleasantly surprised when I read about your endorsement of this bulb ballast combo. I am anxious to get it rocking. I have also purchased 2 IC 660 to run 4 T5 10K and 4 VHO actinic. After reading that you have no additional supplemental lighting I am wondering if I should use the T5 and VHO on my set-up. My thought was to use these to basically simulate sunrise and sunset but if I dont need them then it would save on electricity. What are your thoughts on a sunrise.sunset VS what you are running with. Obviously MH only works great for you. Do you have moonlights? Once again thanks for your input and YOUR TANK ROCKS!!!!!!!!

Beautiful tank, of course, but also a very nice write-up. I was surprised to read that you clean out your 100 micron filter sock only once per week. How filthy is it at that time? I was always under the impression that they should be cleaned daily. Whatever, it's obviously working for you!
The bag is changed out every 5-7 days.. The bag starts to get clogged about the fifth day ..

Thx's
