Never would have thought those hair-raising little crustaceans could be such an interesting read.

I would like to see the next article: how to placate wife while conducting experiments on the nastiest/ugliest crustaceans in the aquarium!

Excellent article, Brian. I've been so anxious to read your findings. Wish I could have found you back in October. I'm still sleepy from all those nights I sat up siphoning those little guys out of my tank. It's been a long time now, but they will forever be in the back of my head!!

Thanks for the comments Christy and Phil My wife wouldn't even look in the fishtank for a long time due to what she called "the ugly bugs". When she helped review the paper for me she asked for a copy without pictures
