Color

Hey Guys!!! I have a 55 with 60 pounds of lr. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions towards any corals or anything that might add some color and make it nice to look at. I will have help with it from an experienced friend. Any good beginner suggestions? I was thinking maybe some feather dusters. Of course the coral wont be added until everything is done and the cycle has passed!

i would aim for around 25x+ turnover for your flow
for a good beginer coral, i would get some exotic zoanthids
have you looked into any local clubs?

If your cycle is still happening then I wouldn't worry about adding color yet. Corals and fish will take care of that later on. But about your flow, do you have anything in there now? I'd get 2 korallia #3's for a 55 gallon. That should provide some good flow. You could always add some maxi-jets too if you need a little more in the future.

Right now I have some powerheads in their for circulation. They say their rated for a 55 gallon but I doubt it. They're not very strong at all. I was just looking at the koallia's online. I was just looking into the future for some color and I want to have coral eventually
