question re: PPE and Armagedon

just acquired some of these guys and was wondering if you can tell me if they will like a lot of light or will be fine with moderate ligting..

they're currently in a 12g JBJ nano mid level w/ mild-mod flow under 96w quad PC..

thanks
Marvin

That should be plenty of light to keep their colors. I have kept mine under MH, VHO, and PC no problems with any of these setups.

I do know that with the PPE's, they will stay a solid color under pc lighting and not speckle up.
I've never had Armagedons.

I think you should be good to go there Marvin....96 watts on a 12g is pretty good and PC's are pretty good when it comes right down to it. You shouldn't have any problems....

I keep Armageddons at the bottom of my 72 bowfront under 2x250w MH and VHO actinics. I had 14k Hamiltons for almost a year, and switched to 20k XM recently for my SPS.

At the bottom of the tank, the Armageddons got redder in the shade, and more metallic orange in the light.

all I have is 2 polyps of PPE and 1 polyp of Armagedon... hope they settle in fine and start producing...
