Question Coralife chiller 1/6hp electrical consumption

Hi all im looking at the coralife chiller 1/6hp for my 72 gal tank plus a 15 gal sump but i cant find anywhere how much energy it will draw since energy prices keep going up im replacing equipment to more efficient ones to reduce my monthly bill.

Thanks all
Nestor

Thanks for the response and yes noise is important to me as the tank is located in my living room.

How about the current usa 1/10hp one could it handle my tank or the resun 1/6 hp?

HP x 746
divided
voltage x Efficency X Power Factor

Have to contact the company for those numbers.

Your best bet is probably a Kill-a-Watt meter. Even if the device states X current or X watts, it may be peak inrush currents or anything else, and is generally only a vague guideline. Runtime and cooling capacity also matters (often times bigger refrigeration units are more efficient).
