L/F suggestions on where to buy glass.

I was looking for glass for baffles and overflow boxes. Lowes glass isn't think enough for my liking.

For the following .25" pieces:

2 @ 17.25 x 11 Clear
1 @ 17.25 x 14 Clear
2 @ 9.5 x 3 Clear
4 @ 3 x 3 Grey
2 @ 10 x 3 Grey
2 @ 10 x 2.75 Grey

Genesee Glass quoted me $203.20 although when I called them last month it was under $6 per square foot of glass. I'll be calling some of the other shops tomorrow.

My goal was to keep it in the $50-$60 range.

Anyone have any suggestions? My wife is already in shock at $150 for plumbing when she knows I can get a 10' piece for under $4, LOL. I really need to stop taking her to Lowes with me.

Anyway, thanks in advance.

Paul

The best prices I found on thicker glass was actually in my small town, Skill glass. They are in Honeoye.

Yup, they were the cheapest by about $20 but it would have cost me $15 in gas and 2 hours of driving. Wish they were closer, LOL.
