schuran ca reactor
Seems schuran makes some interesting claims, sounds good. I have looked at them before when I was buying a bubbleking skimmer. Does this ca reactor really do something different than others. dollar for dollar they hold way less media. The less co2 sound good if less goes into the tank, as far as use co2 is really cheap anyway.
So: schuran owners would you like to convince me to become one. There are many others on the market, most seem the same but schuran at least look different. Ed |

toothman,
IMHE, Schuran Calcium reactors are well crafted, efficient and looks good. The only thing that concerns me is the feeding method. It needs a good amount of time tweaking initially and should perform in optimum level. There is good thread regarding Schuran reactor and honestly it helped me treamendously setting my Schuran. One thing that made my Schuran perform well is the use of peristaltic pump (feeding pump). good luck.hth.

I have Picco on my 800 liter, but I also have Schuran Jetskim 150, it comes with small valve dedicated for feeding a Ca Picco, it performs very well, product iis of superior design and I belive probably best Ca reactors.
