Has anyone had their balanophyllia spawn baby heads?

Here's mine, but it fell one day and its almost dead now. There's still some tissue so if it holding on to life, I'm gonna try to bring it back.
But to answer your question, no mine never did. And I fed it every other day. |

My dendro died after about a month (Rainford Goby irritated with sand constantly). I was bummed, but kept the coral in the tank because there was still flesh. I did not expect what happened to happen... I know have 12-15 baby dendros! They aren't that cool looking right now, but they will be incredible in a few months. That was a good investment .

Spawn or sprout new heads? I have had standard Sun corals spawn like mad before and babies pop up all over the tank.
The pics above look like Dendro's, what charactersitcs seperate the two. Never been much of a balanophyllia or Dendro fan until recently

The balanophyllia I am familiar with grows much larger than dendrophyllia..to 3". It is also a much deeper red color. I still have not found anyone who has had their's sprout babies like dendro, which does so often.

Any pics of Dendro next to a Balano? My .2 cent Dendro
