lunar cycle for clownfish

In a breeding tank i want o simulate the sun and the moon as best i can.

How can i get info on the length of time the main lights should stay on vs. how long the moon light (led) should stay on.

there would be different lunar cycles in different places all over the world, but is there a simple sort of a pattern i could use?
ie
day one lights on 6am off 6pm
moon on 8pm off 8am

day ten lights on 5.50am off 6.10 pm
moon will it get shorter or longer?

could yo set it to a monthly cycle??

Cheers
Tim

I use the eLightmaster java application written by Bill Esposito. Does all the work for you including moon phases, sunrise sunset times, and a wavemaker if you want it to.

Go here eLightMaster to get it.

I have been real happy with it. It uses the X-10 devices w/firecracker.
