De-wormer and clownfish eggs?
Quick question.
We have a GSM pair that recently had a de-wormer treatment, and they have just spawned before any water changes have been done on the tank to get the stuff out. Will the de-wormer harm the eggs in any way? When we pulll the nest for hatch-out, if there is any residual left in the water will it harm the fry? We will be doing water changes on the parent's tank before the nest is pulled, but I'm sure there will be a little still in there. TIA |

I doubt there will be a problem, but the proof will be in the hatching. I have fed spawning pairs dewormer and if anything had an increase in hatch rates.

Yep if the stuff wasn't so hard to find these days I think I would use it more often.

The stuff we used was Metronidazole.
I think most other people use Pipzine though. |

I wouldn't worry about it, it is not available anymore anyway...

Yup, that's the stuff we use, the crystals that is, not the tablets.
