Clown interbreeding?

Do related clowns produce undesireable offspring? I'm having problems finding different places to buy them from. In fact I can only find one place which is my LFS so any I buy will probably be related.

If I buy two clownfish for breeding does it not matter if they are the same sex? I've read they can change sex in these circumstances. I'd prefer to have a group of five as it sounds like they'd be happier but if the interbreeding is an issue I'd just look for two from different sources.

Thanks for any help

There are a few very informative stickies at the top of the Clownfish Forum.
