It's ALIVE!
Well for the moment. The story is I picked up a half alive orange plate coral (fungia). What could I do to feed it or try and save it? I always see stories of people saving lps pieces and I would love to save this guy.
Thanks. |

Feed it small meaty foods, mysis, krill, squid, etc.

When they're really weakened they usually don't have much ability to capture and pull food to their mouth, so it helps to turn off all pumps and place the food directly on the mouth. It should consume it within 15 minutes or so.

Thanks. I spoon fed it some mysis yesterday and will continue to do so. It kept it in the mouth but to me it doesn't look promising, hopefully I'll see some change as the days go by.

Quick update. It's been eating mysis the past two days so things are looking good.
