Baby Anemone
A month or two ago I had a little accident that resulted in the amputation of a small piece of foot from one of my GBTA's. The tissue was literally about the size of a dime. I peeled it off the rock and was about to throw it away...when I decided to leave it and and watch whether it would grow; I was not optimistic.
Well to my amazement...within a few days it began to crawl. Within a few weeks it began to expand outward and differentiate. Now there are very clearly defined tentacles and an oral disk I also found it interesting that it has moved to a position just above the other two GBTA's that live in my tank (the tissue was initially placed several inches away on a separate rock). I thought this was pretty cool to watch.

Cool stuff! I have grown to feel that the most interesting things that happen in a reef tank, are the things that are under the size of a nickel.
