LOL the oxy clean king. Didnt your mom teach you not to believe evrything you beleive. Im sure if it reef safe but i really dont think its much better then any regular epoxy. Its all about advertising. I dont think any puddy in the world can hold 300 lbs for very long.

I thought about it last night (since it's so cheap)... but skimming the website I didn't see anything about it drying underwater or wet.

I think most epovies will dry underwater since they use a chemical reaction that does not involve oxygen.

I've used this for mounting soft corals and a leak repair as well. Don't have any complaints. Compared to some epoxies...it's a good deal.
The advertising part...I have no comment.
But I would recommend it.

Ummmm.....

You guys do realize this stuff is just aquamend dont you?

I have used this stuff for years to affix frags to rockwork, hold liverock together, seal up leaks on my auto-topoff resevoir and make impromptu fragplugs.

Aquamend is about $3.00 a tube at Home depot.

Yes it is reef safe.

Yes it dries underwater.

It is very strong.

It creates watertight seals.

^^ Yeah when I saw the commercial on TV I wasn't really paying much attention, I was hearing all these claims Billy Mays was making and then I looked up saw what it was and screamed "IT'S FREAKING EPOXY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!! I HAVE A TUBE OF IT UNDER MY FISH TANK!!!!"

Then I thought I'd mock it in a thread on RC

Right.. Billy Mays looks to weigh 300 lbs.. Tell him he should stick some to his hard hat and hang from an I-beam.

The Aqua stick is epoxy.

It looks like the identical thing I/we use for fraging.

Probable the same manifacture with a different label.

Too bad the commercial didn't run longer. He would offer to double the 6 stick offer giving you 12 sticks for 19.99 just pay separate shipping and handling for each stick!

Sounds like a good deal.

Anything with this hobby has had the prices inflated before we see it.
