Need to drill tank.

Can anyone tell me were in the chicagoland area or southwest suburbs that i can buy dimond hole saws? I need to drill holes in the back of my 180 gal. Need 1 3/4 in. saw. Thanks.

I went to Harbor Freight a couple weeks ago and the guy working there said they didnt carry anything larger than like 1/2". I had to buy them off ebay and they ship out of Hong Kong.

That sucks. They had them when they first opened. I should have bought them because they were super cheap.

Thanks.jraquatics,scottdwh,taylort,randalb. Svb57 I need to drill at least 4 holes. I look on e-bay but when i see shipping from hong kong it makes me a little nerverse. Thanks again.

I got mine from lau*** on ebay. I got it in the mail less than 1 week later. Check his feedback, have no fear. Do pay with paypal though just to protect yourself just in case.

Thanks grandegixxer. All the bits i saw on e-bay were in mm do i have to convert it into ins.?

i bought from the guy from hong kong...i needed to drill for i inch bulkhead and ended up with a 45 mm. if you need to borrow mine you can assuming its for a 1 inch bulkhead...i'm working in frankfort rest of this week and prolly next. also www.onlineconversion.com

I have a 45mm as well. There is a very long thread in the DIY section that has all the bit sizes for different size bulkheads on the 1st or 2nd page. http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...to+drill+glass
