Congrats! snipersps got his Watermelon from Ron J (where I got mine) and then sniper gave to Tyree so I'm sure it's the same. The way you've described yours sure sounds right as does the pic. Looks just like mine! Awesome chalice..I have maybe 35-40 of them and this is by far the most unique. I'll have to post another pic of mine soon...cont to grow well and definitely does its best at bottom of 250W MH w/VHO supp.
Again congratulations..its very nice!

I keep my watermelon frag I got from Hugo under the same lighting. Though that's the only lighting I've tried to keep it under so I don't have any thing to compair it to.

Hey stoney,

the growth is out of this world...I had a piece like yours and within I say 3 weeks it fully healed and has a cute yellow skirt. If it has the proper conditions and something to encrust on....it will grow. Here is a pic of my baby....I always feel like it is watching me with those 2 little eyes.

No but it's one of the closer I've seen. Rommel (UltimateFrags...where that pic is from also has another really close ROAB's Alien Eye..waitlisted) I've got all 3 and this one may be the closest in overall appearance...REALLY nice for the price!
Tubs currently has a Watermelon on Ebay that already at 405.00$. For what rommel is asking the one you posted is a HELLUVA dealby comparison.

i think the one i have is the watermelon as well but not from tyree. just compare the close-up to the one i have. l
the color changes understandably under different lighting.

man, i should start fragging mine up and make a fortune now before the market gets saturated.
here is another pic from exotic for comparison....it is the same.

Don't need to because Atlanticreef will kidnap it before I can send it to you.

I got this one a month ago. It's not the LE Watermelon, but it's from Ron at Reeftecdesigns. He calls it Watermelon 2:

It now has a pretty green edge. I'll have to get an updated shot for you guys. (in daylight, too) The color is sort of mauve/pink with the neon green eyes.

Melissa
