Downset, sorry about the mess.
I wont name names but I know of at least one relatively seasoned reefer on RC who has a bright red lord that he thought was a caulastrea forever until someone pointed out that it was a lord once they became more popular. I can imagine that a watermelon echino could look like a mycedium if it was kept in substandard conditions or in a tank with very monochromatic light.

no siblings ,im in la ,that should tell you something ... connections are everything .its who you know and what you know ................ i think it came from tonga ..... but im not positive on that ive had it a couple of years and my memory isnt the greatest

I doubt there are any other pieces in circulation with this unique coloration, it seems to be to be a distinct individual morph, I have never seen another on like it, not even close to the intensity...I guess it's a blessing that tyree will have it, at least it ensures the future of this unique animal
