barebottom tanks

is it a good idea and safe to do a barebottom tank? can someone give me information on this please.. i'm not understandin it.

Oh boy you just opened up a huge box of worms on this one To be honest I do not like the looks of a bare bottom tank at all. Plus you don't get the pleasure of having any sand sifting live stock.

well i'm lookin for a way to keep my substrate clean.. i think i messed up when i put the gravel kind in.. now i have no clue as to what to do.. i know i have huge bristle worms in my tank..

Theres nothing wrong with that. Some people think they are bad guys when in fact they are good guys.
