I got a 6 pack of ceramic magnets in lowes at the area where the nails and screws are for $1.99 and super glued 3 together on each side for my 120 and painted them with krylon fusion paint but cermic magnets are in your tank any way any pump you use is made of the same thing. Krylon fusion is safe after its dry. There are tons of threads on it in the DIY forum. I hope this helps let me know what you find out.

BTW the big orange cap in my last pics were grown out on a magnet plus i even glued it to the rock when i moved it because the frag covered the magnet and i would have had to break it to remove it.

I can't get over how that is 250 lbs of rock. When I had 100 lbs in my 120 before I tore it down it looked similar to the amount you have, of course Fiji is very dense...

Looks good though, glad you removed the sand I love the clean look of BB.

Most of the rock in the middel of the tank and on the sides under the fiji are solid rock no holes that rock is 20 and 30 lbs each rock.

TS-

Well you can rest assured that the Krylon Fusion paint is OK to use... I was reading on another forum of people using it to paint their white PVC return's due to them being against the black backgrounds... They have stated that they have NOT seen any ill effects from doing such...

I will be painting my magnets tonight

I like to be able to show friends to so the thread is a great way to show them when im at there house. Most of my friends have a 240 and the coral came from them so this way they see how my tank is doing even if they cant make it to my house. Thanks to every one for looking i hope to some day have a tank of the month quality tank and to be able to look back at it from the beginning.

TS

Tank looks great!

How do you like your Blue Stripped Rabbit? I just added one about four weeks ago. It is just setteling down and eating with the others. Before it did so it ate all the zoos I couldn't remove from the display (didn't care for them much anyway)

Thanks. My rabbit fish it great im happy i got him he did the same thing yours did he ate all my fire and ice zoos but thats the only coral in my tank that was not a sps so i dont care. He eats any thing i give him now. Now my scribble rabitfish is eating my polyps off my green slimmer so he may go. But he eats any food i give him to there both out together all day every day and always come up to me so i can hand feed them.

Your scribble is eating SPS?!!!!

I was looking for a scribble when I bought the blue stripe I had no idea the scribble, or any rabbit, would eat SPS.

You never know for sure all fish are different there like kids i have a friend that had a regal tang eat all his zoos. All the books say different things to i have read in most books that rabbit fish and foxfaces will eat sps polyps. But in a big tank its not a big deal. Im setting up a 240 in my new house im buying right now i wont move untill the end of the year but my 240 in wall will be set up in augest or october and ill run it untill i move the coral over and shut this tank down untill i get every thing i need to set it up as my frag tank. Im just going to keep mine and let him eat them ill have to many corals in my 240 to care. BTW ill take pics of the 240 build when i start it.

Hey
I dont have any recent pictures of my tank uploaded to Photobucket. I did a water change today and will try and get out the tripod and snap a few tomorrow.
Looking forward to the big inwall 240g at your new house! That will be something to see for sure!
Do you want any more clams??? I see that Dr FosterSmith is running a special. Have you seen it? It is 1/2 off of a 3 Pack of clams. They are small guys but should grow quickly with the Ca reactor you have running.
Here is the link.

Mike, it's Thiago. I think you'll remember me.

Besides all that rock (I'm a low amount of rock, open structures kind of guy ), the tank looks good! The amount of growth you get on your corals is ridiculous!!! When I have my new tank up and running I'm going to have order a frag pack from you! (love the montis!!!)
