Euphyllia Sting

So yesterday, i was moving my hammer coral and one of its stinger tentacles had landed itself on my thumb where i had a tiny little cut. All of a sudden my thumb started stinging like no other so i dropped the coral and ran to the sink to wash it like 100 times. It was still a little sore last night but it didn't really hurt, but today my skin is red where it stung me and is a bit swolen and hurts whenevery it touches anything, but not a lot of pain. Just making sure that this will go away on its own and wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Euphyllias can pack a punch-- my hammer coral will give me huge poison ivy-type rashes if I brush it with the inside of my arm. Usually goes away in a few days.
