Club Meeting October 22, 2007

Hi all

This months club meeting will be on monday night, October 22, 2007 at the newark library, 7:00 PM - 8:45 PM. Sorry for the change, but someone beat me to the rooms.

If anyone has a topic or presentation they would like to do, please feel free to chime in. Or request a topic for discussion. A brief notice would give us time to research.

As always, feel free to bring some frags to swap or make arangements for a trade.

thanks

Ken

Hi Ken,

If this helps I have a new VHS Tape from Coralife called the Reef Aquarium Soft Carols Of The Captive Reef. It is a 38 min long. It has not been open yet. Let me know if you are interested for the meeting.

If anyone is interested in trading zoos for zoos I have a few fraqs I can bring to the meeting. I am looking for zoos with orange in them and can add on a little cash if need be. here is a pic of the mother colonies of the frags I have-- I have numerous of the yellow/blue/yellow zoos(top) and a few of the silver/purple zoos on the bottom:

Cheers,

Eric,

I unfortunately do not have any orange zoos to trade, but would be very interested in purchasing a frag of the yellow skirt with blue and yellow centers from you. Let me know how much you would like for a frag, and I will bring the money with me to the meeting. Hopefully next month when I get the frag tank set up and my display re-aquascaped I will have some frags available.

Thats cool... Last time I was at ECA I saw a few things I wanted at about $20 a pop. If you like, for $20 I can make a small frag pack with 1 good frag of yellow/blues( at least 10-20 polyps), a frag of a polyp or two of the blues, and maybe a random small frag of something else I have in my frag tank( I am getting ready to move and need to do some tidying up)... I also have cheto that I can throw in if you like...

I can make up a few of these packs if others would like to purchase instead of trade as well...

Thanks in advance!

Eric,

If you have another frag pack to offer, put my name in for it as well. I gotta start filling this 75 up. :-) I could use some chaeto, too.

Oh and I need a little chunk of Cheto if you have it.

Does anyone have any aglaes/plants such as Shaving Brush Plant, Mermaid's Fan Plant, or Maiden's Hair Plant? I want things that can be planted and won't float away. I have Halimeda(Money plant) and may even have a little extra of it to swap with someone in about a months time.

If someone really wants and can offer a good trade I may have an extra Mangrove propagule.

Wowsers…
I wasn’t expecting such a big response! I took a look my inventory last night and I have enough for 4 packs. So far I have had 4 requests:
1)4n4sd4
2)Ronert
3)Gordonious-got you covered on the algaes as well, I will add a variety of what I have as the extra frag, including a piece of blue ball algae
4)Alex4fun

Again, price is $20 or a trade if you have zoos or montiporas. Please let me know if you change your mind.

It's looking like a buyer I had lined up for a frag pack of different items has backed out. If I don't hear from them by Monday I will have some more frags available for trade/purchase. I will post some pics once I find out for sure…

If anyone has a piece of green cap monti for trade or sale I would be interested as well as any zoos with orange in them…
Cheers,
Eric

Oct. meeting

Ken,
I am planning to make this months meeting. I'm finally settleled in my new house in Port Deposit, and with any luck I will start my new reef tank this month.
I'd also like to join the club.

Folks, Please keep me in mind when you have frags available or even some live sand from your tank to inocculate mine, as I'm going to need some real soon I hope.

Can you give me direction to the meeting place too?
Thanks,
Doug K

Well I plan to attend this meeting. And Hopefully I can make it to it.

I don't have much of anything to trade right now, but If someone wants a red mushroom, I have a few I'd be'd willing to trade if anyone was interested.

RBTA, I'd like a red mushroom, all I have to trade are purple mushrooms. Or maybe a green rhodactus--Any interest?

Hey gang -

unfortunately it looks like I am going to have to miss this month's meeting. I am scheduled to be out of town that week. Hopefully I can get the schedule changed though.

Anyway - I have some small frags available for trade if anyone is interested in getting together seperate from the meeting.
I have some Kenya tree, yellow polyps, green-striped mushrooms, and a few small SPS frags - just don't ask me what they are.

Would be interested in softies, LPS, zoos or misc. polyps.

Hope all is well.

Craig
