Question (a poll of sorts) if this was your set up....

If this is what you had:
38-45 gallon predrilled tank, 38 gallon sump/fuge (no drilling). protein skimmer, biowheel, heater, various lights specific to types of coral, sand

And these are things you'd like:
live rock
hammer coral and some other corals
Pair of false percuna clowns
a shrimp (maybe a few)
perhaps a brazillian gramma (if they are compatible with the other two)

What other things would you add? Specifically, other fish (especially if the grammas are a no go)? unique & colorful coral that arent too difficult to keep? how many pounds of LR and how many corals? Thanks!

Ditch the biowheel, add 50lbs or so of LR and some MH lighting a couple seio powerheads and you should be good for just about anything you want to put in it other then big fish.

You could get by on PC, VHO, or T5 lights if your sticking with soft and LPS corals. Hammers and frogspawn will do fine. If I had a pair of Ocellaris I would get a BTA. They're not the natural anenome for False Percs but mine love their's and BTA are the easist to keep. Your going to be limited to 5 or 6 small fish. Firefish or other small gobies are peaceful and colorful. Damsels and Chromis are reef safe and fun. Alot of people shy away from damsels in bigger tanks cause they can be mean, but i think they are perfect for smaller tanks.
