OT: Golden Gate Bridge + Portraits
Between work and meetings, I managed to get out and shoot some photos yesterday:
River of Gold: Cups of Sun: Conifer Ginko: (strange artifacts around the conifer pines, crap) Ginko on Stone (meant to be abstract, I don't need to focus better =): Through Golden Veils: Palmy Red Balloon: Portraits: Great story - It was a stroke of luck that I met these two today in Golden Gate Park! Kat had come up and asked for directions, and we ended up talking a bit and decided to go do some portraits with Andy. This couple was a ton of fun to shoot! They were excited, motivated, relaxed, and bubbling with energy. The chemistry between these two is amazing. Looks like I have a few new models now! Hopefully I'll have a few more sessions with them in the Spring Time, AND in daytime. I hate shooting portraits at night =( |

thanks for the comments guys =) I'm in my more abstract phase these days, so that means a lot of macro =P
It's so weird how the bay area is blooming with flowers in winter time. It's great! And the Ginko leaves look so amazing when they start to fall. |

hey olivia, I just use a point and shoot sony, a nikon camera and actually a bunch of different lenses.
The macro shots are from a Sigma 105mm f/2.8 1:1 macro. The portraits are from my Nikkor 50mm F/1.8d... while others are with a 12-24mm f/4, 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6, and ... more I forget. |
