tang question

Can my yellow eyed kole survive feeding on just my live rock? I have offered him sheet algae & romaine, but he hasn't wanted eaither. He spends his days grazing on my rocks & glass. Appears to be doing well with just that, very active & social.

I have some green algae in there, but that is all starting to turn to red coralline, which seems to be thriving.

And, no, I didn't see him eat at the store. My bad. :-(

give him some time and eventually it will start... you can try to soak the nori in some garlic extract to get him interested.

IME for new additions even though they dont eat right away they do swim into the area that I feed so you can give that a try.

Have you tried live macro?

My tangs (yellow and hippo) love the red tang heaven from IPSF.com. I've seen other places online that have it as well (red gracillaria (sic)).
