4 Tone Zooanthids

Does anyone have a macro pic of a zoo polyp with 4 pigments?

Ok, I was too slow for the edit, so please excuse the new post.

Here's what I found Mucho. Knowing all our eyes see colors and seperations differently, please offer your input if you see less than 4, more than 4 etc. I'll find more later.

This may be a stretch, but these could possibly be considered as having 4 different colors.

Heck, not a stretch for me, I clearly see your 4-banger there! Very nice.

Here's a 5 bagger for Mucho I'll pretend I don't know he's setting me/us up for his "12 Rings of the Universe" morph he probably has lying around in wait

5 color distinctions in some of the polyps *TME* (To My Eyes)

While I can officially say I dont have a six, I do have some with 4-5 distinct colors (although nothing as spectacular as some pictured above which have made it so I have to call Toshiba to have my laptop repaired from drool, er um, water damage)

The last one doesnt have really defined colors, but some gradients in it, so that could theoretically be construed as infinite colors But yeah, theres my best. I have some green, maroon, yellow ones, but thats only 3.

Do you really have a 12 color one mucho?

I think my balls of sun would be considered 6 shades...yes, no?

I see yellow, lime green, brownish, white ring, burnt orangeish, then bright orange.

I have lots of those #4's in the first group of pics. Some with the peach mouth and some with a yellow mouth. Pic #5 has 5 distinct colors to it. Very nice.

Hehe, I was just teasing Mucho Just "sort of" seemd like a set-up question coming from you.."Who has 4 toned zoanthids?" When, even as I was a lurker prior to joing I read and drooled over your zoa dominated TOTM I really figured I would pull out the pics, you'd get me up to 5 or 6 colors and then BLAMO! pull out some crushingly hot 10-12 color morph. All fun!

Anyhow, check my nuber 5 pic as now that I'm looking, I think I see 6 actual colors on some.

All the morphs look great guys, lets dig up some more!

I know you asked for 4 tone, but I'm going to try to stretch this one to 8...

I see a neon orange lipstick (doesn't show up too well, but you can see it), white around mouth, thin dark ring, orange ring, brown-green, Brown ring, iridescence in skirt, lime green in skirt. What do you all think?

I wish I could get some clear photos like you guys earlier, but here's a better photo of the wildfire zoanthids.
