spare pump anyone?

I need to send my skimmer pump in for service. Since I'm running BB, having my skimmer operational is pretty important. It's been offline for 4 days already...Anyone have a pump I could borrow for a week or two? Something in the 3000-4000 gph range? It's gotta drive a becket skimmer. I don't know for sure how long I'd need it, but hopefully not more than a couple of weeks.

What kind of inlet / outlet plumbing do you have already?

I have a pump I can loan you if you don't mind adapting. It isn't 3000 gph but it should work in a pinch.

If you think it'll drive your old MR3, great, I'll take it. What is the plumbing size?

I can stop by on my way home from work if you'll be there. PM me your number and I'll give you a ring later on.

Thanks..

Actually, that would be easier a Dart is what I did have there...you're not gonna need it for a couple of weeks? Mine's making a rattling noise (probably a bearing) and I don't know what the turn around time is on it...

I'll give you a call in the morning. I work over in Feather Sound, maybe we can hook up sometime during the day or after work.

sounds good matt it will be at least 2 weeks before i need it back. may be able to let it go for 3 if needed. we are laying tile this weekend and probably not moving the tank in for another week or 2. I will probably just throw some power heads in it for a while so no big deal. that is my cell # I sent you and I will have it all day. our office is close to home so I will drive by and pick it up and I have a job out by 49th and east bay so it will be easy to hook up today.
