This one gave us a pass, another 50 miles east and I'd probably be underwater right now.

So greg,

I am in the planning stages for my light set up for my 400 in wall. I was wondering, now that you have had your system set up for a while, are you still satisfied with using chains and PVC? Would you change anything if you set up your system again?

Thanks

Awesome tank. You and Bomber have made me want to change my tank over to BB. I will be doing it next week.
Quick question about water changes. Do you replace the water you skim out with new saltwater. If so, then you're doing about 40 gallons new SW a month according to how much you said you were skimming. Thats about 10% a month. Do a large one every couple of months (50-100 gallons) and I would think it should be fine. Does that sound right?
I was thinking of doing a 360 gallon. just 4 inches taller than yours but I think I like yours better. I may do a 300 now.
Thanks for the great read. Later,
Jeff

It's not quick all saltwater, but I do put in a few gallons of salt every week.

Do you have to dose everyday? How do you know how much to dose? How often do you have to test?

Can you point me toward some threads or articles on this topic?

Thanks,
Jeff

The tank is doing fine. Haven't done anything interesting with it lately to report on. Been too busy.

Greg, are you busy because of my hurricane issues, or is this more work-related?

Well, both in a way. My work scheduled has been effected by the hurricane disasters. But it was bad already anyway.

Man, I must have been tired last night. I've never taken credit for creating hurricanes before. Please ignore "my" in that sentence, readers.
