most likely. but if youv'e never done this before just be aware that removing it may not be as easy as you think.

depends on the size of the tank/ trim....5gallon tank yes it will be tough......65gallon tank...no it should be easy enough...stripping it clean will be tough regardless...but the silicone should stick to a little bit taht is left in the trim...make sure the glass is clean though...

The silicone will be much easier to remove from the plastic than the glass. Keep in mind that the silicone and the silicates in the glass are strong bonders. There is much less silicate in the plastic for the silicone to bond to.
I have reused the trim that I took off of two broken 30 gallon tanks on a set of frag tanks.
