Question How to get rid of Black ICK?

Well yesterday I noticed my Desjardini Tang turning sideways and rubbing his side on the sand bed and have also noticed him rubbing on the rocks. This prompted me to look more closely at him and I noticed these little blacks specs all over his body.

Sadly, upon my research I discovered that he has Black ICH. Well I am all set to give him a fresh water dip for 5 minutes for 4 days consecutively (thanks Reefsnob) however I want to eradicate these parasites from my tank all together....does anyone know of a reef safe way to do this??

I dont know much........ but the ich will need something to host on, i.e. FISH. So I would remove him to a QT asap. Check ALL of your other fish, because (I think) the ich will fall to the sand bed and look for something else to host on. If they dont have anything to grab on to the will die. A UV with the correct flow will help get rid of the ones in the water column.

Freshwater dips/Rally combination has worked well for me in the past. Ick meds won't work very well, as the black ick is actually a type of flatworm....

Its an aquarium medication made by Ruby Reef (same people that make kick-ick). I use it in the freshwater dips. Then I keep the hospital tank medicated with it
