I just got a gold tear drop I put it in the sand to get adjusted now i want to move it up on the rocks. One night it blew the sand away and hooked it self to the bottom of the tank how do i get it off with out hurting the clam. I put my other three clam in the sand and they did not hook up to the bottom.

I have had the exact same problem. I would try to have it attach to a small piece of live rock placed under the clam. Unfortunately my teardrop never attached to the small lr and just attached to the glass.
Does anyone have any solutions to his problem (which happens to be the exact problem I have)? |

Mine still will not stick to a rock i put it in the sand again. Its under 400watt 14k in a 40 breeder should be ok. My corcea has been on the bottom for a year doing very well. Trying to get pics.
