flatworms

Does anyone know if velvet nudibranch will get rid of the reddish colored flatworms and if they are reef safe,thanks for any help on this question

Yes, the eat them (available from Reefer Madness) and yes, that is ALL they eat.

The problem with the velvet at least in my case, was that it floated around the tank and end up in a power head, like shredding $20 bills
I have use flat worm exit couple of times and they keep coming back, I guess I need to dose 3 times that amount

I think they develop a resistence level to flatworm exit. You will likely have to up the dosage. When I did mine, I did 200% of recommended dosage.

I have seen a six line eat them.Not sure if all will.But then you have to worry about the sixline being a bully.

thinks for the help guys my hairy mushrooms had most of the ones in the tank on them so i did a fresh water dip and got them all off still not sure how I am going to get rid of the rest maybe try the flatworm exit I just hate putting cemicals in the tank.

i had a bad flatworm problem about a year ago.. added a red scooter blenny and hadn't seen a flatworm in the tank until the blenny decided he would rather live in the overflow box.
now the flat worms are starting to show up again. evidently he didn't totally eradicate them but i firmly believe he kept them in check..
i'll be breaking the tank down soon and fishing him out of the overflow,,, so he can continue ransacking the flatworms...
