retracted/collapsed frogspawn

Our currently fishless 24g aquapod suddenly has problems. Our dual head frogspawn is all retracted. The Xenai too but I don't care about that. The toadstool, a bunch of zoos, green star polyps, ricordia etc are all doing fine. Water is good, 0 Ni, Na, Ammonia. 8.2 PH. Any ideas what could be wrong with the frogspawn?

Thanks,
David

Hmm, do you run carbon in the tank? How often and how large are the water changes? You might be seeing allelopathy.

What other corals are in the tank? The ones listed don't really sting, so that's not an issue.

isnt frogspawn an LPS coral? And if so, dont lps corals use calcium more so than softies (if softies even use calcium...i'm not sure lol ). But i was always under the impression that w/lps you need to watch the calcium a bit more, but that still wouldnt explain why the xenia is closed up too.

I have 9 colonies of frogspawn in a 12g tank, all I do with them is a monthly water change of 3 gallons.

Checked tonight. Calcium is a bit low. 345. My wife has already dosed the tank to bring it up. Thanks for the help.
