Lightbulb christmas lights

My wife wants me to go outside now(!) and hang some more lights up on the house. It's freezing outside and getting darker by the minute (5PM in upstate NY is pretty cold and DARK). Sometimes I wonder if she's on drugs?
Please... anyone post something so I can pretend to be busy with something important. Please...

Wow, I get irritated when the hubby tries to talk me outta doing things myself... We buy furniture w/ assembly required and argue over who gets to put it together. I drag the ladder to the front porch to hang lights and he says he'll do it if I go inside and make some coffee to which I tell him to go make the coffee cuz I wanna hang the lights (soon as the wind started up I went in to make the coffee though). He did, however, let me climb the ladder over the summer on my window washing mission.

Also (in case your wives read this) we take turns cooking dinner and he does his own laundry. I do all of the house cleaning though so he still gets off lucky...

I put our lights up a cpl weeks ago when it was warmer out.I used to hate it but now it is not to bad ( I guess lol). The only problem is it used to only take a short time but when we bought different house last year take alot longer now.Gary I think you should have a light hanging frag swap at your house next year...Scott

Or you could be like the folks across the road from me: Leave 'em up all year long.

Something about unlit icicle lights in July screams "WHITE TRASH!!!".

It's a good thing I live in Conesus!!!

Yah, my mom one year left the fake tree up until Valentine's Day and put red heart ornaments all over it. The family still hasn't let her forget about that one...

Hey Gary,
Your lights story brightened my day. I might get out of that chore this year. I didn't do it today, tto cold. Tomorrow, I'm ging to the Bill's game not too cold and Teusday we are going to Boston. I need to find something to cover Monday.
