She's a Bernese Mountain dog.

Gary is one of the lounger's (Nina) significant other. They've been together 11 years. Gary recently lost his 21 month battle to kidney cancer. He passed away on Friday, Nov. 30, and his funeral is today. He touched the hearts of many even though we never met in person.

I'm still here although I spend most of my time in the lounge now that my tank is gone. I doubt I'll ever get another tank. I do miss it once in a while but just don't have the time to devote to it anymore. We just recently remodeled the family room with new leather furniture and new carpet so I don't have room anymore.

Jimmy has gotten so big. How's the training going?

keeping in mind that he's only 9 months, i'd say he's excellent. he won't win any obedience competitions, but he listens 95% of the time. so i'll take it.

alot of the tips you gave me at the beginning have helped more than some of the books i've read.

Glad to hear it. Callie's doing well. The only real problem I have with her is she's a runner if she gets out. Not sure how to fix that problem. I didn't have that problem with Scooby. I could say "stay in the yard" and he'd stay. Callie bolts as soon as she gets out the front door. She's also a chewer. She's getting better but she chewed a huge hole in a vinyl seat on the boat this summer (Labor Day weekend) which will cost us $$$ to fix. She's chewed up a bunch of remotes, cordless phones, Wii controllers, anything she can get and since she's so big she can pick things off the couch and table. I think we're almost through that stage. One good thing though is it taught the kids to pick up after themselves.

She's turned into a real beauty. I see Scoob looks like he's still happy to stay away from her. Looks like he's enjoying a good chew himself.

And, sorry about your friend's passing. I know first hand how bad it can be to lose someone close, tragically. It's a tough thing and at a tough time of year. My thoughts and heart go out to all those affected.
