they are mixed by way of air blower. 2 -1/2 inch lines feed each container and each container has a 2inch lift tube that I made of pvc. they work great, it nice to have that much storage for make up water and.... stuff happens and its not unusual for that much to just decide to blow out the skimmer or...... who knows, it can and will happen

the vertical panels you see are just 2" insulation that I installed last summer and never took them out . they reflect the sun light good

I am not by anyway paid or compensated for any thing or brand name . I have had issues with quality of alot of products I use. So this thread should not be taken as advertisment as I would not use some manufacturers again .

Redox, it looks like you are using the polycarbonate panels. Do you find they are any less efficient than the plastic sheeting used on most greenhouses? From the reading I've done, they block out too much of the UV necessary for great growth. On the contrary, do you notice if they are much better for insulation? Thanks for your time.

I have no problem with growth now that I have been keeping my parameters in close check a little of this alittle of that and things seem to fall into place . I have actually been logging my results on a semi-daily basis and have noticed some trends and this is actually what has helped me fine tune my gh setup. Its really amazing how little you have to add of something to notice a difference. The age of my system cant hurt either. coraline took a good year to take hold and now it grows fast . I did away with the sun block cloth in the fall and am debating on wether or not to put it back in the summer . the only reason would be to help cut down on heat gain ,not for light intensity. your ? plastic or poly-carb, well I think its mainly a cost issue and not a light issue
