Talking OT Hockey

My sons team made it to the finals at the Bell South Pee Wee hockey tournament. Its the largest youth hockey tournament in the world...very exciting weekend, don't think the boys realize what a memory they are creating.

Anyway, if you happen to have a Canadian TV station called "Rogers" its being televised tonight live at 7:20 from the Scotia Bank Place (Senators Home Ice)

What a great time.

The team celebrating the win in the semi-final.

We went to Scotia Bank and played the top team in Ottawa, won 3-2 so they had to play the American Anthem after the game...they don't like to do that much

It was a wonderful weekend, we even made it back in time to go to the Ice Bowl...had the Sabres won in the shootout it would have only been slightly better!

Congrat Kurt, I am still turning it around in my head if I will let my daughter and son play hockey. I have a couple years to think still as they are very young. But as a father, I know how it is to be proud of your kids when they accomplish something. Again congrats.

Was editing some shots from one of the playoff games and came across this series
My heart rate was around 120 the whole game and was giving me some problems keeping my mind on shooting during much of this game...these are actually about 1/2 the original frames, cropped that much. I am happy to have gotten a series like this, full frame would have been better but will take it.

So, double overtime...defenseman with the puck

Takes a shot and it gets past their defender

Puck goes in the net, but does anyone know?

I think their Defenseman in white knows now

Puck is out of the net now, but I think the shooter knows it was in

Oh yeah, he knows.
