Futurama making a comeback?
 Created by the guy that gave the world The Simpsions. It was just moved from Cartoon Network to Comedy Central with IMO is a big move for a show that was cancelled several years ago. Also released a straight to dvd movie last year (as in 2007).

I dunno. IMHO the move is because Adult Swim has spent the last few years playing EVERY episode of it practically back to back every night, and viewers are sick of it.
As much as I like the show, its departure is opening up slots for other good stuff. |

Comedy Central is slotted for at least 13 new episodes. Fox reportedly will also have the option of showing them, but most people don't think it's likely.
http://tv.ign.com/articles/714/714479p1.html A few of the actors have also confirmed in interviews that they were doing new episodes. This was confirmed a couple of years ago, but it's about a two year lag for cartoon shows, so it's supposed to be aired this year. Dave

I care! i love Futurama! Comedy Central bought the rights and is bringing back at least 13 new episodes and 3 straight to DVD movies, i think. i looked it up on Wikipedia awhile back.
Benders Big Score was a pretty good movie, IMO. it made for a much better comeback than Family Guy managed. Family Guy is great, but the new stuff isn't up to par with the first 3 seasons before they were cancelled.

Supposedly, the current plan is to go with making four movies (including the first one that made a straight to DVD release two months ago Bender's Big Score) and break them up into episodes.
