Brain Coral

Alright here's the story I had a brain coral but due to some unknow reason it started to recide and eventually almost all of if died off.. However one small piece of the flesh did break off and landed in the sand.. Well it stayed there for a couple of days and started to swell up.. SO I grabbed it and put it into my diy hang on frag tank.. lol.. anyway it's seems to be doing quite well.. It has swollen from about the size of a pencil eraser to about the size of a large jawbreaker maybe 3/4" around.. My question is will this flesh start to grow a skeleton again and what should I do with it.. Pic below don't know how well it turned out i am using my cell phone with a camera in it to take the pic...not the best but it's better than nuttin.. thanks..

I have no idea - but that pics not so bad for a cell phone!
