The nice thing about matt's place, you bring in the old dirty ones and he swaps them out for "cleaned" ones that look nearly new. If you are close enough to go there often, it's a sweet deal.

IS Sea schor still at the same location on Dundee?

Sorry Doc for the hijack! Sea Schor does the same thing, but I don't live close enough to take advantage of the program...just wash them myself! They moved further East a few blocks last year sometime. Here's the link to their website if you are looking for the address: http://www.seaschor.biz/page/page/3866510.htm

These are some of the Oak bookcases next to and across from the tank
please tell me that these oak bookcases are in the viewing room of the tank, and not behind the scenes where all the moisture can really ruin good woodwork?

Sara No problem I wish I could check out the stores you and Kigs are going to

Absolutely all of those OAK bookcases and display stands are in the viewing area facing the Tanks front

LOL I dont have to place a live rock order I have been buying live rock and curing it in my seasoning tank for about 18months in preparation for this LOL Marshalls, Fiji, Samoa even a bit of cutured argocrete... I bought much of it from freinds in my reef club who aquiesed and I would then buy out thier systems... Right now as it sits I have about 500lbs ready to go about 200 lbs of cured Live sand and another 400lbs of bagged fine argonite from before the Carribean harvesting closed up Just bought 5 X 5 gallon buckets of Reef Crystals from Doctors Foster and Smith... each bucket will make 160 gallons shipping was only like $11 the buckets were like $30 each WOW I pay $25 for a 50 gal. bag ususally LOL so 3 X as much for $5 more.. get the Quality salt while its cheap.... wierd price actually

figure that was , anyway your setup and looking very nice too. I have been taking a break lately spending more time with the kids, but at the same time I need to get this baby going. DFS has been doing that for quite sometimes now, my friend made that order from the beginning of the year and they still have that special which is crazy. sending 5gal would cost an easy $40 just freight alone. undecided which one I will be going with looking into Hawaiian or tropic marine and do they really make a difference what salt is used?

Yes, the higher quality salts like Reef Crystals have more minerals in them when mixed and are able to maintain higher values when actually in use over time... I never buy cheap salt
