I am currently in the process of acclimating because they gave me only 1 bag and limited water, so I am currently separating them and putting them into containers, and also printing out directions. I will probably leave my house in an hour or so to go to livermore and will be back after. for those of you who are close to the 87 and capital, I will be dropping off skypes' over there so if anyone wants to meet there call me.

Thanks again David and Jason. I decided to feed my Berghia some aptasia as the manual suggested while I was acclimating. I scraped two mid size one from my fuge. Boy.... each one of them took down the aptasia within 15 minutes. Their color change from white to brownish.

I bought them for my sister but I'll keep them around to eliminate some of the aptasia I have especially in my fuge.

Thanks David for doing this group buy and dropping them off!

I stuck a rock with a few small aptasia in a small tank and berghia are MIA, but the aptiasas are still on the rocks.
Hopefully the berghias are still alive and just hiding in the rock.

Yes, thanks for the GB David. Nice meeting you and Kenny!

I put my 4 in a 30 gallon tank (with heater and air bubbler) and a few infested rocks. When they were acclimating in their ziplock box, I put a small infested coral skeleton in with them and they all migrated to it and started feasting!

I would suggest that anyone who has not picked them up yet, do so immediately.

The last time I bought some (four) I left them in the container and was drip acclimating them overnight and then went to work the next day (still dripping them with fresh tank water). When I came home they had melted into nothing. What a waste of money!
So don't wait too long to pick them up!

I have plenty of aiptasia to feed them, I hope they multiply!

How long does it take to a berghia to eat a small 5mm aptasia?
I put a 5mm aptasia into the acclimation containet while drip acclimating. But it is taking about 1hr to eat the small meal. Is this the normal speed of eating?
If so how long does it take to clean a tank out ???

no prob guys...everyone picked up just fine except one person because he was busy, so i gave it away because I had no time to acclimate again....I was wondering the same thing dochou is saying, how long does it take them to clean out a tank...if anyone has some after, I believe Dan from Pacific Garden Supply (Luminarcs) needed some

I think eating speed depends on hunger, plus they eat mostly AT NIGHT, so maybe after lights-out (or if you cover the qt contaier) they will eat it faster.

I acclimated mine in the container I got from David. Cut a bunch of small slits in the top and place the whole thing in the sump with 2 aptasia overnight. I check this afternoon and saw one of the aptasias gone. Biggest surprise was a bunch of eggs around one of the berghias. Hope they hatch.

Cool! Hey, if they hatch good luck! (especially at $12 per bergie!)

When I opened my container I could only see 3 out of the 4 that I ordered, then I realized that "one" of the bergies was actually 2 of them, doing something naughty!

So has anyone had any luck with theirs? Are your aiptasias being eaten?

When lights are out in my qt tank, I can occasionally see one or two of them. They don't eat much of the aiptasias that are in that tank. I can't find the other two. IE, I may have lost 2 of them.

No luck for me yet. I haven't seen them since the night I put them in the tank. They crawled deep into the rock work and out of sight. The aiptasias are all still there.
