NY Aquatics & Holanthias borbonius

Shout out to Mike and NY Aquatics for hooking me up with some rather difficult anthias in the trade.
Holanthias borbonius or Blotchy anthias. Mike was able to obtain two for me and it took about 3 weeks for me to get some pics of them since they are super shy at first.
Enjoy:

Thank you.

And Warren, great shots. Wish I could get some for myself.

pecan2phat: What do you mean "difficult"... to get or to keep, or both?! They look fairly small in the pics, do they stay that way? Beautiful regardless, good luck with them.

Who is NY Aquatics and how does one get in touch with them? I have been looking to get some small water column fish that will fit into my tank and have had no luck finding some small cardinals or something similar.

Thanks.

Hi Randy,
These anthias were hardly seen in our enviroment (local LFS). When I mentioned difficult, I meant in terms of aquiring. They rarely show up for sale in the US, probably more in Japan.

NY Aquatics is a home based small business that is run by a gent named Micheal in New Rochelle. He has very good prices and undercuts a lot of LFS and online vendors and is able to aquire some hard to get species such as a pair of Cross Hatch triggers, Tinkers butterfly, Hawaiian Flame Wrasses etc.

Go check out his website, www.nyaquatics.com
