The effect of OPOs on rotifers (Brachionus plicatilis) has also been determined.58 No effect on survival was seen at less than 0.22 ppm OPO, but effects became significant above that level. It means that you can use enough ozone to control bacteria levels in your rotifers

In general, I do not think it would be a good idea to have any detectable OPO's in a reef aquarium.

I see no need for ozone in a rotifer culture system as well. Much of the bacteria in rotifer cultures is extremelly benificial and IMO needs to be there. I deal with some of the worlds largest volume rotifer growers and none of them use any ozone in their systems that supply their 1/2 billion dollar cod farms.
